home > Projects > Partner > EPICC: European Portfolios Initiative Co-ordinating Committee EPICC: European Portfolios Initiative Co-ordinating Committee European Portfolio Initiatives Co-ordination Committee (EPICC) is a project looking into the potential of e-portfolios. Epicc believes that the activities proposed in this project will allow Europe to become the leader in the field of e-portfolios in education. Project partners represent a wide consortium ranging from e-learning platform provider to educational institutions currently using and investigating the use of e-portfolios in all levels of education in Europe. At the end, the project will produce user scenarios on e-portfolios which will be in a searchable database. The database with a handy web-interface will stay at the disposal of all practitioners who will be able to submit scenarios on the use of e-portfolios, as well as search for them. The project also carries out some work on application profiles, currently applying IMS standards to the community of medical studies. The EPICC project is a 18-month project funded by the DG Education and Culture.
