The project builds on two ‘network of networks’- European Schoolnet and the Standing International Conference of Inspectorates (SICI), which links 22 inspectorates of education in Europe – to critically review, refine, disseminate and exploit the methodologies and results achieved in the P2P project.
The P2V project will apply the methodologies in large-scale contexts, including a larger network of schools, ministries of education and inspectorates, to identify good practice, tools and results in the eLearning Programme related to three key areas of ICT in schools: digital resources, media literacy and new learning environments. It will also further develop and refine an analytical framework to guide decision-makers at all levels for the effective use of ICT and e-learning in school environments.
Peer learning activities include peer learning visits to participating countries to test and apply peer learning methods developed in the P2P project. At least six peer-learning visits are planned, involving various combinations of school leaders, policy-makers and inspectors.
Dissemination activities planned include brochures, books and a portal to publish and disseminate the results through social networks, innovative channels, and ‘traditional’ studies, analytical papers and workshops. A final conference at the end of the project is planned to disseminate to a wider audience the preliminary results of the project as well as launch new path for further continuation of peer learning work.
Partners in the P2V project include EUN Partnership (coordinator), the Dutch Inspectorate of Education, Regional Training Unit Northern Ireland, the French and Lithuanian Ministries of Education, the Education department of Catalonia, and ENIS school networks in Denmark and Austria. There are two non funded partners: the University of Fribourg (Switzerland) and the Directorate for Education and Training Department for Educational Development in Norway.
