The website is at the core of the eTwinning action. On the eTwinning portal, schools can meet, discuss by email or chat and make new friends in Europe.

Several partnerships have already formally been registered on the portal and more and more registered schools find their eTwin. To help them, a range of search options to find the right school, and the right topic, is available.

More and more features are added to help schools communicate better. Exciting upcoming features include a TwinSpace, a collaborative and interactive environment for schools to carry out twinning activities and an eTwinning label to award successful partnership between two European schools.

The eTwinning portal is the European hub for eTwinning action of the EU’s eLearning programme. For this action, European Schoolnet has been granted the role of Central Support Service (CSS).
