50 Years Together in Diversity: Competition closes
Author: EUN News

The 50 Years Together in Diversity competition closed on 31 December 2007. We would like to inform the participants that the competition entries are currently being evaluated in two stages that are scheduled from 1 January to 15 February 2008.

The outcome of the first evaluation stage is a shortlist that includes the names of the finalist teams. They will be announced after 1 February 2008. The competition winners will be selected from the shortlist and published on this website after 15 February 2008.

Each competition entry consists of two parts. Part one is an essay that answers the question "In your opinion, what are the major challenges that the European Union will be faced with in the next 50 years? How can it deal with these challenges?" Part two is a visual composition that focuses on the theme "Europe in our daily lives".

The “50 Years Together in Diversity” school competition is being run by European Schoolnet on behalf of the Museum of Europe. For more information about “50 Years Together in Diversity”, please visit the website.
