Second Policy visit of the P2V project in Barcelona
Author: EUN News
On 20-23 February 2008 the second policy peer learning visit of the P2V project (Peer to Peer Networking for Valorisation) will table place in Barcelona. The Barcelona visit follows the first peer learning visit which took place in June 2007 in Lithuania. As part of the Policy strand of the P2V project, three visits are planned, the last one scheduled in France in the summer.
The methodology developed in P2V calls for hosts of the visit to identify a specific issue or problem to be presented and possible solutions discussed with peers. The issue to be discussed upon during the Catalonian visit is to create the right conditions to support and spread pedagogical and managerial innovation in schools using ICT.
This issue was chosen in the light of the current challenges Catalonia is facing related to immigration, cultural identity, transformations in economic activities and changes in social structures, especially the family. School is seen as a key means to respond to these changes.
More information about the visit will be reported on the newly launched P2V website which includes the latest news and events in the P2V project.
Partners in the P2V project include the following organizations:
- EUN Partnership AISBL Belgium (coordinator)
- Inspectorate of Education, The Netherlands
- Regional Training Unit, Northern Ireland
- Centre International d’Etudes Pédagogiques, France
- Centre of Information Technologies of Education, Lithuania
- Departament d’Educació, Catalonia, Spain
- UNI-C, Denmark
- ENIS, Austria
- Did@ctic, University of Fribourg, Switzerland (self-funded)
