Learn more about peer learning in Europe with P2V
Author: EUN News

The P2V (Peer to Peer Networking for Valorisation) portal was launched at the end of January. It features the latest development in the P2V project. P2V aims to help teachers, inspectors and policy makers discover methods, pedagogies and inspection schemes in other countries using peer learning. P2V is a continuation from P2P (Peer Reviews and Observatory on Policy and Practice in ICT), another peer learning projects led by EUN.

As the project goes on, the latest tools techniques and methodologies to perform peer learning will be added on the portal. Currently being developed is a peer learning application for schools to self- and peer-evaluate their e-maturity. Other documents to be found on the portal include documents, frameworks and methodologies developed as part of P2P and which are being valorised in the P2V project.

The portal also features an RSS newsfeed from the project’s three strands of work - Policy, Schools and Inspection - to keep up-to-date with the latest visits, reports or tool developed as part of the project. The news feed originates from the P2V project blog which has been running for sometime and include several stories and features about peer learning

The portal also features links to the various tools used in the P2V project for partners to communicate: community, blog, google spreadsheets. Additionally a Wiki has been set up for partners to contribute information and knowledge on peer learning.

Partners in the P2V project include the following organizations:

  • EUN Partnership AISBL Belgium (coordinator),
  • Inspectorate of Education, The Netherlands
  • Regional Training Unit, Northern Ireland
  • Centre International d’Etudes Pédagogiques, France
  • Centre of Information Technologies of Education, Lithuania
  • Departament d’Educació, Catalonia, Spain
  • UNI-C, Denmark
  • ENIS, Austria
  • Did@ctic, University of Fribourg, Switzerland (self-funded)
  • Directorate for Education and Training, Norway (self-funded)

The two years project started in 2007 and will run until December 2008.
