The eTwinning action provides teachers support and back up to develop cooperation between schools in Europe with the help of ICT. From 4 April, a TwinSpace, an online collaborative workspace, will be made available to registered partnerships. Pupils and teachers will be able to publish webpages, share files and links, exchange messages, chat, etc.
Several partnerships have already formally been registered on the portal and the eTwinning team encourages registered schools to find their eTwin. To help them, a range of search options to find the right school, and the right topic, is available.
In addition, a pedagogical team, composed of four teachers from different European countries, offers pedagogic material and services, supporting the professional development of teachers in exchanging experiences and good practical examples.
Schools participating in eTwinning get recognition through four tangible ways.
Depending on how ambitious their partnership is, schools can earn the eTwinning Label, be featured in the eTwinning Gallery, or win the eTwinning quality Label and the eTwinning prize.
