Futurenergia: Energy is our Future

European Schoolnet partnership with PlasticsEurope, the association of plastics manufacturers, launched the "Energy is our Future" website. It aims to raise awareness among students throughout Europe between 11 and 18 years about the importance of energy efficiency. Through online activities and a competition, students will learn interactively to work on issues linked to energy consumption and energy savings.

ITEMs: Integrated Teaching Elearning Modules

The Integrated Teaching Elearning Modules (ITEMs) project has as central objective the development of a framework aimed at driving up standards of teaching and learning in Science and Mathematics. The goal is to enhance students’ achievement and, as a corollary, their interest and engagement with science by improving teachers’ competencies and setting up the conditions for a change in teacher practice towards a more inquiry based model, thanks to the use of ICT.

Nanoyou

NANOYOU (Nano for Youth) is a project funded by the 7th Framework Program of the European Commission that aims to increase young people’s basic understanding on nanotechnologies and to engage in the dialogue about its ethical, legal and social aspects.
